Onwards to Indonesia!

I was up early and raced to the train station to catch a train to the airport. I met a confused Chinese guy who couldn’t work the ticket machine. I gave him a hand and given we were both going to the airport we teamed up and figured out which train to get on.

After avoiding a lot of pastry over my time in Paris I took the opertunity to try some different things before I left. Then I was in the air, ready for 16 hours of flying.

Pastry in Paris
Super unhealthy but I’ve got to try the local food, right?

I still can’t sleep on planes, plus I lost 4 hours, so getting in to Indonesia I was totally exhausted. That said, immigration was a breeze so I was soon outside and in to Jakarta. Right away I was hit with the heat and noise. Everything is incredibly green here which is nice though, particularly for a massive capital city.

I got a bus in to the centre of the city and found my accomodation without any complications. Then I hit the sack, too tired to do anything productive.

Hi James, Once again, great to read of your progress. Love your Paris pics especially! All’s well here. I have just bought a new (I.e. Old) Merc! How’s that for being a bit European?! Take great care. Home run now… Gxx
